We are a small run hobby kennel currently located in the northeast part of Texas on the outskirts of a small town called Wolfe City, which is about 70 miles northeast of Dallas. Our goal is to breed a well rounded retriever - one that can be a perfect hunting companion that excels when trained and then come home and be a full time house dog if you desire. We strive to produce Labradors with excellent pedigrees that promote brains, good looks and dogs that are free from health problems and genetic defects such as hip dysplasia. Since we use outside studs, we make sure that both sire/dam can be great in a family household setting but also have the drive to work hard with superb trainability and smarts.

All our breeding females will have all necessary health certifications so that way we can assure you that you will be receiving a quality puppy that is less likely to have any genetic defects.

We are currently getting the CGC title on our girls. We just love to show that whether out in a field hunting/training or working around people, our Labradors here at Sagecreek Kennels are all around great dogs and most of all, family.

We send all our pups with a 30 month written health guarantee for hips/eyes. All of our Labradors we use for breeding are avid hunters and/or family dogs from quality titled lines and we are sure they will produce some pretty fine pups with the natural prey drive to have what it takes to be a wonderful hunting partner and/or family companion!
