I cannot say enough about my lab I bought 4 years ago. Dynamo Black Jack has been great he is solid in the field whether it upland or water fowl. A great companion and well behaved dog around the house. Rarely does he ever have to be put a leash. A great dog he truly fits the titled of "Rock Solid Pointing Labs". Great people and great breeders of good dogs. Thank you for such a wonderful dog.

I bought a lab from JJ and his family last year, and I cannot say enough how great that pup has been. I've owned a lot of labs over the years, but this dog has all the right pieces. Look, temperament, drive, intelligence, etc...She is the fastest learning pup I've ever had, and her socialization was 2nd to none when we got her home.

Came back to Rock Solid after buying my first pup from him 6 plus years ago. I've owned labs all my life, but none as great as the last 2 I purchased from JJ. Their family is passionate about what they do, and the pups are well taken care of.

Our family made the 1500 mile trek to Iowa from Washington for one reason! We trusted that we were going to get everything we wanted in a pup from Rock Solid. Through talking to him, looking at the website, we knew right away that this was Justin's passion! We couldn't be happier with the result! Our only complaint is that we wish we didn't have to drive 1500 miles to get everything we wanted in a pup!

Just bought a second dog from Rock Solid Pointing labs early this fall. I bought my first lab 6 years ago from him. There's many reason why I came back a second time. Mable's ability, drive, companionship are second to none! What was even more important, is the service that comes with the sale. I've kept in contact with JJ over the years, and he's always interested in how Mabe is doing. When I came to him 6 years ago, he was the only breeder that offered his condolences when I told him I had to put my other dog down and was in the market for a new dog! Most other breeders just want to make a sale, he cares about the dogs he's putting out there, how they fit in your family, and how they perform in the field!

I bought a pup from Rock Solid back in 2013. He is now a MH titled male, and is everything I want him to be. I get comments all the time on his look and demeanor. He's not only able to perform at the highest level of competition, but when it's time to settle in be a part of the family I've never had a dog like him.

I can't say enough how much fun it was working with JJ and Rock Solid it is definitely his passion. The pups are everything they are advertised to be. We've had ours pup for a little over a year now and couldn't be more happy. He's a great all around family dog, and is everything I want in the field. He was out hunting dogs dogs 3 times his age in his first season. People comment on his looks all the time, and many were shocked that he wasn't a year old when they hunted behind him the first time.

Bought a pup from Rock Solid and I can't say enough how perfect he is. All the looks, drive, and point I could ask for. JJ does a great job of socializing. I've had 8 labs in my lifetime, and my last pup from Rock Solid is hands down the most socialized pup I've ever had!
