Krista and Herb Wendland have been involved in Tollers since 1993.
We started to breed them in 2004 on a limited basis.

We maintain the standard of proving our dogs in both hunt tests and obedience, as well structurally proven by obtaining their conformation championships.
Tollers are one of the few dual purpose hunting breeds left and we pride ourselves on maintaining that distinction in our own kennel.
So our dogs are great workers and look good doing it!

We have sold dogs for both duck and upland, working companions for performance and also just active pets.

Krista works at proving our dogs are great workers, actively pursuing field and obedience titles.
Our boy Colt, is one very few Master Hunters in the breed. Proudly this was all done by Krista with no professional help. Colt lives for the game and is the type of Toller we will strive to produce.
He is quiet and biddable and has the best off switch when not working, so makes a perfect man's best friend. He shows great water and terrain courage, something not always seen in the breed.

Rainkist provides its puppy homes with life long mentorship and support. All our dogs are OFA certified for hips, elbows, eyes and genetic tests inherit within the breed. We are more than happy to provide proof of our health clearances.

Puppies are on occasion as we spend a lot of our time training and competing. We select dogs to match our own for breeding that also prove themselves as hunting or working companions. We are more than happy to discuss future plans for the avid hunter.
