Welcome to Owasco Valley Retrievers! Our goal is to produce Labrador Retrievers that are well balanced and just as comfortable in your home as they are in the field hunting or in competition. All of our labs we use in breeding are chosen based on ability to compete, health clearances and disposition. Our dogs have proven abilities from AKC hunt test competitions and hunting the prairies of South Dakota, the Game Lands of Pennsylvania, Finger Lakes of New York, Eastern Shore of Maryland in the Delmarva and Chesapeake Bay.
We match our dogs to the correct mate with the right temperament to produce the best litters possible and not just matched to a pedigree. Owasco Valley Retrievers have dogs available for breeding or at stud in Northern Virginia and Central New York. They may have great dogs but one (or maybe both of the owners) are rotten people. They comment and harass other breeders excessively. It happened to me and I found a few other breeders who they did it to as well. This is not ok. I would not recommend doing business with people like this.
