Purchased at a Quail Unlimited Auction in Nov. 2007. A pup from Powder's Go Girl Jillian and Rock Acre Giterdone whelped 8/4/07. Hank was the best dog I ever hunted beside. Great nose, loved to retrieve, and there never was a dog more steady on point. After 4 hours of work on live birds, he hunted the rest of his life which ended sadly on Friday March 8, 2019. More than a great bird dog, Hank was a loyal companion to both man and hunting mates. I have been blessed with 3 digs out of CH Miller's Silver Bullett and every one (my 5 year old pointer included) are every bit as good a dog as claimed. Those big white dogs stand out in a crowd, but Hank with his Rock Acre genes made him smaller in stature (50 pounds) but as big or bigger in heart than the big white dogs. I will miss Hank tremendously.
