Hunting Dog Breeds Raised: Golden Retriever
Golden Retriever Puppies due the beginning of May!
DAM:
Dasher was a Christmas gift to our family, and has been a great joy ever since. She is extremely smart, and she has been easy for her amateur owner to train into a perfectly functional retriever. She is steady to shot, has a great nose, brings birds directly to hand, and loves to hunt. She is a lovely field bred golden retriever, just as comfortable in the field as at home. To us she is first and foremost a family dog, and she couldnt be better at home. She plays hard in the yard with the kids, and shes calm in the house afterwards. She wants nothing more than to please, and she is sweetly loving and affectionate. She has always been easygoing, never prone to anxiety or bad behavior. She growls appropriately at strange noises outside in the darkness, and she wags her tail happily after realizing its one of the family outside. Its difficult to imagine how she might be a better dog.
SIRE:
Ruckus is a very nice dark red male with a correct field coat. He is a talented waterfowl dog and loves to hunt all day long. His owner, Matt Upperman, describes Ruckus as his best friend! He is a gentleman with people, wonderful with children, and is an instant favorite with all who meet him. He brings plenty of drive to this breeding as well as the kind of golden temperament we breed for. He epitomizes the dogs we breed; people feel fortunate to have a strong, talented dog over which they can hunt while at the same time having a dog they love to live with. His pedigree is full of multi-talented, multi-titled dogs with generations of healthy, athletic dogs to balance the package. Both of Ruckus parents bring great longevity to the table; Finn is 14 years old and Annie is 14 years old and going strong
Both the sire and dam represent some great established foundation pedigrees.
