My late husband, Dan Koon, Radigan Koon and I have been Bracco Italiano breeders for 23 years - the longest in the US. Our dogs and puppies live in our home and we've been told the puppies are the best-socialized people have ever had. We start shooting cap guns at 4 weeks and they know eye contact by then as well. I'm an obedience and behavior trainer, as well as a retired vet tech and groomer. I am always available for questions, whether we raised the dog or another breeder did.

We started with Italian and Dutch breeding, and have imported all our breeding dogs... and now are using dogs we have bred. Our bloodlines are some of the best available and, given recent AKC recognition, we are even more committed to preserving the Bracco Italiano AS IT IS.

Braccos are amazingly versatile. They can do upland, waterfowl, blood-trail, find sheds, hunt rabbits, coons and coyotes, track, SAR and also make marvelous service dogs.
